About the Campaign
The Carlow Islamic Cultural Centre (CICC) is a beacon of faith, serving the religious, cultural, and social needs of Muslims in Carlow and surrounding areas. Based in the heart of Carlow town in southern Ireland, the CICC is dedicated to enriching the lives of our community through two primary endeavours: the Carlow Mosque and our Islamic School. The Carlow Mosque is a sanctuary for worship and community activities, while our Islamic School offers comprehensive classes in Islamic Studies, Qur'an Recitation, and Qur'an Memorisation, all in line with the pure teachings of the Qur'an and the ways of the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
Currently, our mosque and school operate in a rented facility with limited capacity, unable to accommodate the growing number of Muslims in our area. To address this pressing need, we are launching an urgent appeal to build a permanent Mosque and Islamic School. The Carlow Mosque and Islamic School Project aims to acquire a larger property to establish a lasting legacy of faith, community, and learning.
